Fonts

One of the best ways to add style to your projects is through Fonts. Do yourself a favor and take some time to find and use a quality font that portrays the message you are trying to communicate. (Please don’t use Times New Roman or Papyrus.) Here are some sites that offer FREE fonts to download and use in your video, worship lyrics, sermon graphic, announcement slide or anything else that requires type.

  • What type of font do you recommend for worship lyrics for congregational singing?

    • Good question. There’s not really one single font you should use. But there are some guidelines to follow. 1. It should be readable. 2. It should portray what the song is saying. 3. Don’t change fonts in the middle of a song (rare exceptions).

Visual Worshiper (Cameron Ware) has a really good font guide to follow when it comes to worship lyrics – check it out here http://bit.ly/MqpH4R
